The Suppression of Unlawful Acts Against Safety of Maritime Navigation and Fixed Platforms on Continental Shelf Act, 2002, gives effect to the International Maritime Organisation Convention for the Suppression of Unlawful Acts Against the Safety of Maritime Navigation and its related Protocol.
